William Frej’s  “Blurred Boundaries” wins several photography book awards

William Frej’s most recent book, “Blurred Boundaries: Perspectives On Rock Art Of The Greater Southwest,” has recently won a number of awards, including both  Best Photography Book and the Jury’s Choice Award (one of only three awardees) from the National Indies Excellence Awards.

The book also won the Oliver Award for excellence in rock art photography from the American Rock Art Research Association; a Bronze Medal in the Nature category from the IPPY Awards; and an Honorable Mention in the Nature category from the 2023 Foreword Indies Book Awards.

In December 2023 Peyton Wright Gallery was honored to host an exhibition of Frej’s works from this book –  a set of powerful black and white photographs of  the enigmatic rock art in the American Southwest and Baja California.

Congratulations, Bill!
