Martha Epp
(1907 - 1995)
Martha Epp was born in Kansas on March 31, 1907. She moved to Colorado for college at the University of Northern Colorado and went on to further study at the University of Denver, University of Colorado, Kirkland School of Art and California College of Arts and Crafts. She was a student of Vance Kirkland’s.
Epp taught in the art department at North High School in Denver for over 20 years and influenced later local artists including Dale Chisman and John De Andrea.
Epp’s work was exhibited at the Denver Art Museum and many other venues.
